Viedo Games

Usually i played video games but now i really don`t  have timejsj to play them, i remeI usually  played video games when i was fifteen years old, but now i really don't have time to play them. I remember that the first time that i played video games was in 2002 and y played mario bros. So.. i use the computer to do homeworks, to check the email, or log into my facebook.  
I don't think that viedo games are a waste of time, in fact i like them!  Is just that i have to do things more important than play them and when i have free time i prefer stay with my daughter or my friends.
But i would like to say that the last summer i knew a video game called "plants vs zombies" and i really enjoyed it, plants are living organisms that belong to the kingdom of Plantae. They obtain most of their energy from sunlight in a process called photosynthesis. They are the main protagonists against a horde of zombies, and are the player's only defense against the undead assailants, so the idea is protect your garden against the zombies.
The player goes on stage featuring different types of plants with different unique characteristics of attack or defense in three different locations: front yard, backyard and roof of the house, intending to stop a horde of zombies in their mission to devour the brains of the residents.
I played it, all the summer and it was a good moment, because when i was boring i started to play this funny video game i recomend it!

Holydays

Holydays it is a nice word in de middle of the stressfull time on the university and the monotony of this time.

I like the kind of vacations that you can forget about the city's stress, annoying noises, responsabilities, long faces, etc.

But also i would like to travel in company with someone special for me. Because i think is a situation that you don't do it every day

A place conected with de nature, with animals, far away from the city, so i  prefer travelling with my friends, and stay in campings.
On holyday when I can't get out of Santiago, I like being at home, waking up late, see my friends, watching movies or reading a good book and take my daughter somewhere to entertain.
My last holydays was on February, 2012 i travelled to la Serena and i saw the most beautiful night on Pisco Elqui, also i went to the beach with my daughter she loves the sea and the sand, but unfortunately she get sick and we had to comeback to santiago, so i think on this winter holidays i'll travel with her .

Programs, team  psychology and education (EPE)


The Team of Psychology and Education at the University of Chile was founded in 1997, and takes the category of Academic Program in 2008.
This program has focused on improving public education through teaching, research, and consulting. In the beginning the team was formed by the participation of educational psychologists, but today counts with various professionals how are experts in the field of education ( That they are not neccesary psychologists)

The objetive of this program is incorporate various dimensions of educational work,  from public policies and social movements to work in the schools and classrooms.
They are focused on the problem of intersubjective processes that influence the teaching and learning, and the formation of whole human beings, from an context that includes social and educational aspects.
The EPE Program works in areas such as; teacher work, new technologies of  information and communication, school gestion, multiple intelligences, educational guidance, students' life-together, youth, and childhood.


I like this site because has a lot of good articles about education that as I see it’s a very good web site to get information.

Books

I Remembered that when i was a kid, my parents used to read me fairy tales at  nights and i have that as a nice memory, because those reading habits are becoming more rare these days.

Eduardo Galeano

I think that when i studied at school i read because it was obligatory for the tests, but when i went to university i started to read books voluntarily, i don’t t consider myself as a book worm but i like to read time to time. I don´t know how many book I’ve ever reading but I think it was more than fifty, I like to read books about  latin American reality, also politic, education among others so.. I prefer read non-fiction books because I think it could be a way to learn about some topic. One of my favorite writers is Eduadro Galeano, he is a Uruguayan journalist and writing. I like the way that he write, in his plays you can see  the confluence of narrative and essays, poetry and chronicles, his books collect the voices of the soul and the street and offer a synthesis of reality and memory. I read  books by him like “Las venas abiertas de América latina”, also “memorias del fuego” or “Patas arriba: Escuela del mundo al revés”.

Finally i would like to say that the first book that I mentioned was made a documentary based on this book in  2009  , in wich the writter  told about the history of Latin America. Here’s  the synopsis, I hope you can see, or read the book. I recommend

Moments frozen in the time

I like very much the topic of this week, today i'm gonna talk about the photographies.
I don't remember very well when it started my taste for photos but I do remember that when I was a little girl, I  really enjoyed seeing the album of photos that there was in my house because I liked to see me when i was baby,the places i had visited or situations that I not remembered.

 

I think it was since six years that i started to understand  the meaning of the photographies, I think it goes beyond that if I like take photos, because I think the important thing about them is the meaning that at least have for me.

And that meaning is that the photos are part of a piece of our lifes frozen on the time, it's beautiful because the memory is fragile so... when you take a photo you will always have the chance to relive tat moment. 

I remember It was for a christmas i received my first camera, it  were special years because, i could  keep every Important moment in the photos;meetings with my friends, my family, birthdays, celebrations, and especially photograph my daughter. Unfortunately my camera broke down over a year ago, and is different now for me because I feel I have lost many cute moment that now they are only keep in my memory, anyway i think i will buy some one when i can raise the money.

The two pictures shown are important because they are two special moments, I lived with my daughter; the first one it was taken by my cousin and it was the first time that Colomba went to the beach, she was so happy with the sea and very scared with the sand. And the last one, it was taken the last year by my sister and is a special moment because it was the first presentation of my baby girl in her garden, she danced for me a beautiful "cueca chilota"

Animals

Hi everybody today i'm gonna talk about the animals, well.. i'm not consider an animal lover but i like them. I have always lived in an aparment so i had little pets; like hamsters, birds, fishes, cats or little dogs but there was one occasion when we had a big dog which we had to give because the space was too small for him.

I don't know why but more than once i had fat pets, we had a obese hamster which didn't fit in his wheel and today  i have a pet, it's a female cat, her name is Artemisa she has eight years old, white coat, green eyes, she's cute but she's extremely obese, she's a couch potato cat, she's always stay in home

I don`t like the zoo because in my opinion the animals have to live in their natural habitat, even when the people in charge of zoo claim  that "they rescue endangeranimals" i think they should take them back to their real home, finally it turns in to a dirty business, they profit with the innocent animals.

Here's a little boy in therapy with a dolphin

I like a lot the dolphins because they are tender, the people can touch them, they're funny and the most important for me is that exist therapy with them for people how has autism, delays, cerebral palsy, etc.

I i've never saw a dolphin, so... i really like to see one of them a swim next to them and finally i would like to say that when i'm stress i like to listen the sound of the dolphins and really work it.

My peace of technology

Ok i think that my favourite piece of technology is the cell phone, is an electronic device that allows multiple operations wirelessly anywhere you have signal. Among the many operations (as it depends on the type of cell) include makingphone calls, web browsing, text messaging (SMS), pictures and capture sounds, clock, calendar, making payments, etc..

I remember that my first cell phone, was a christmas present of my parents and  happened, when i was twelve years old, in the present, i mean today,  the phone cell that i  have is my eighth.

well i'm not the kind of person who used expensive cell phone because usually i'm absent minded with the things so.. probably i would  lose it and that is why my cell phone is not modern or expensive.

My principal goals and why i use the cell phone is because you can keep in contact with the people, for example if there's a emergency situation you can use the cell phone to ask for help o if you want to talk with a special person. Well ... this may only happen if you loaded with money the cell, because if you don't load it, the phone it could be useless jajaja.

Well i use  the cell always because i need to know constantly about my baby girl, my family, friends, etc. So..i try to carry  it, with me all days, and that is why i like because i can keep in touch with the people i love
I think the life it be more difficult without it, because even that i don´t use it for many operations, many people use the cell phone to work's tools, to use the internet, to listen to music, to play, etc.
